171 Gallery, founded by artist and collector Claudia Limacher and gallerist Alfredo Luis González Parra, is a contemporary art gallery in Lucerne's historic old town. The gallery is dedicated to advancing dialogue at the intersection of art, design, and craft.

Our curatorial focus centers on creators who push against disciplinary boundaries, treating process as intellectual pursuit and physical practice. We are especially drawn to work that emerges from close engagement with materials-whether through surface, structure, or repetition-and embraces making as a site of reflection, experimentation, and resistance.
