In its inaugural exhibition titled The Spaces In Between, 171 Gallery brings together the work of all its artists to explore the quiet intervals that shape perception and form. The exhibition reflects on what exists beyond the visible, on the pauses, distances, and absences that give meaning to presence.
Through painting and sculpture, each artist engages with the tension between material and void, gesture and stillness, light and shadow. Their works invite a slower way of looking, one that acknowledges that meaning often resides not in what is shown but in what is left unsaid.
The Spaces In Between marks both a beginning and a threshold, a meditation on dialogue, relation, and the subtle dimensions that connect one form and one artist to another.
